The 20 Days of 420
The 20 days of 420 was a bit of a passion project of mine for Xhale City marketing. It was February 2020 and the looming cloud of covid was upon us. I had just begun doing campaign research for our annual 420 sale. I wanted to take this opportunity to create something to inspire our customers and create something informative. In our teams brainstorming session we realized we wanted to create a short series of information around CBD as it started to rapid grow in the market and gain our customers trust.
We devised a plan to create content that was Informative, Trusted and Entertaining over a 20 day period.

To achieve our Informative objective, I developed a six-part educational series centered around CBD. The series covers a comprehensive range of topics, including the definition of CBD, its origin, its functions, recommended dosage, and common concerns (as of 2020). I took charge of the scripting, research process, facilitated recording talent, animating, and editing.

Our Trust video goal during this time was one of the most challenging and rewarding tasks among this series. We had six canidates available to do an in person shoot the week of filming. Almost all of the canidates declined shooting as spread of covid hit the news. In a last ditch effort, we were able to pull new canidates to screen capture facetime interviews. We ended up with such a wonderful array of individuals with such unique stories about their journey with CBD. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did interviewing these customers.

Entertainment was our final segment and what better way then to get to know our employees as they try out some products. Our goal here was to showcase products we carried while also giving customers a realistic idea of how the products are used and including down to earth commentary.

To wrap this up, this project was a bit of a heartbreak. Even through all of the marketing we planned for, we still had to ultimately make the decision to push the sale off to May 20th. I still believe this collection of work has value and educational purpose. I put so much heart into this project and will show it always.
This final video was posted on April 20th, 2020. This is a collection of footage put together from 2016, when I started with this company. We wanted to give our customers a look at the people and events that helped Xhale City become the brand it is today.
